PERMANENT RESIDENCY PROGRAMS

▪ EXPRESS ENTRY

Express Entry is a Canadian Immigration Program designed for skilled workers and Skilled Trades People to apply for permanent residency.  Processing times for Express Entry applications are estimated to be as little as 6 months.

To apply for Express Entry, an applicant must first submit their ‘profile’ which is a summary of their qualifications based on such factors as age, education, work experience, language ability, Canadian qualifying job offers, etc.  The profile is assigned a ‘score’ out of a maximum possibility of 1200 points, and the profile is then entered into a pool of potential candidates, where it remains valid for one year.  Those applicants whose score meets or exceeds the minimum score in a subsequent ‘draw’ by IRCC will receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ to submit a complete application under one of the following categories:

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program
  • Canadian Experience Class Program
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program
  • Provincial Nominees

We can assist and guide you through the application process to make it as simple and stress free as possible, by assessing your potential to qualify for one of the Express Entry programs, and guiding you through the entire process, from providing assistance in completing profiles and applications, reviewing and evaluating supporting documents against application criteria, providing guidance in obtaining supporting documents, such as ordering police certificates, translating documents, etc., corresponding with IRCC throughout the application process, and even preparing you for an interview, should one be necessary.
